Basketball Recap: Laguardia Takes a Loss

Laguardia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Beacon Blue Demons 78-40. Laguardia lost against Beacon in their previous head to head back in January of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 47-40 score last time.

Laguardia's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Beacon, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laguardia will square off against Hunter College at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beacon, they will challenge East Harlem at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Harlem knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Beacon likes a good challenge.
