On Thursday, Buckeye Local didn't have quite enough to beat Beaver Local and fell 6-5. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Edison came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out Harrison Central 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 6, 2024.

Buckeye Local's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Edison, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 6-7.
