Basketball Recap: Lumberton Takes a Loss

Lumberton was the 51-46 winner over Jack Britt when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lumberton Pirates took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jack Britt Buccaneers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Pirates came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 238th).

Lumberton's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Jack Britt, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-15.

As of now, neither Lumberton nor Jack Britt have any future games scheduled.
