Wolfson won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They had to suffer through a 53-22 loss at the hands of the Sandalwood Saints. The Wolfpack's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Wolfson lost, don't look at Hannah Timmerman. Despite the final result, she posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Kayonna Watson, who had five points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sandalwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jahkyra Rodman, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Rodman has scored at least a third of Sandalwood's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamora Enoe, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Wolfson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Sandalwood, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Wolfson will head out to challenge Westside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wolfson is facing Westside at the right time seeing as Westside is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Sandalwood, they will host Andrew Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Andrew Jackson will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sandalwood surely won't give up without a fight.
