Softball Recap: Westview Wolverines vs. Mt. Carmel Sundevils        
        
		
            
 It was a good run, but  Westview unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Mt. Carmel Sundevils by a score of  3-2. Westview was red-hot at the plate headed into the  match (they scored no less than ten  runs in the three  contests prior) but Mt. Carmel's pitchers proved too tough.
 Westview got a good showing from  Anessa Hartman, who   pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits.
 At the plate, Westview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Leilani Muller, who  went 3-for-4 with  an  RBI.
 Westview's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-9. As for Mt. Carmel, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Westview nor Mt. Carmel have any future games scheduled.
