Soccer Recap: Berry Gets the Win + How To Watch

Berry's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out the Central Cabarrus Vikings 2-1. Given Berry's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Central Cabarrus are ranked 472nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ricky Mubre and Matthew Walters scored both of Berry's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Berry's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Central Cabarrus, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
