Baseball Recap: Wallington Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Wallington ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 14-13 victory over the Elmwood Park Crusaders. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Joey Roman, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. Tyler Perry was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.
