Baseball Recap: El Cajon Valley Comes Up Short

El Cajon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Vincent Memorial Scots, falling 15-5. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Matias Herrera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

El Cajon Valley's record is now 0-8. As for Vincent Memorial, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
