Basketball Recap: Priory Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Priory had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Berkeley Yellowjackets as they made off with a 69-48 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Priory got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kasten Eggers out in front who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Teddy Xanthopoulos, who earned 15 points.

Priory pushed their record up to 24-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Berkeley, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-16.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Priory Panthers take on Santa Cruz Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Cruz will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Priory surely won't give up without a fight. Berkeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
