Volleyball Game Preview: Notre Dame Academy Cougars vs. Ursuline Academy Bears

Notre Dame Academy is 8-2 against Ursuline Academy since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will host the Bears at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Notre Dame Academy sitting on nine straight victories and Ursuline Academy on three.

Notre Dame Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Braintree on Friday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wamps.

Meanwhile, Ursuline Academy earned a 3-1 win over Archbishop Williams on Friday.

Ursuline Academy was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 14-25, 25-13, 25-19.

Ursuline Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Notre Dame Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.

Notre Dame Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Ursuline Academy in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
