It was a proper cat-fight when North Charleston challenged Baptist Hill on Friday. The North Charleston Cougars put the hurt on the Baptist Hill Bobcats with a sharp 8-2 win. With the Cougars ahead 5-1 at the half, the match was all but over already.

The victory got North Charleston back to even at 1-1. As for Baptist Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Charleston will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Battery Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Battery Creek's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Baptist Hill, they will welcome St. John's at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baptist Hill has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
