Baseball Recap: Pahoa's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Pahoa was the 7-0 winner over Hawaii Prep when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Daggers fell just short of the Ka Makani by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The loss was the Daggers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pahoa fell to 4-1. As for Hawaii Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season.

Hawaii Prep will square off against Honoka'a at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Ka Makani's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Pahoa will be paying especially close attention to Hawaii Prep's match: after Hawaii Prep faces off against Ka'u, they'll take on Pahoa again at 3:00 p.m. on the 18th.
