After losing to Lewistown the last time they met, Cuba/Spoon River Valley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0 on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Grace Yaste paced Cuba/Spoon River Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Yaste got some help from Kacie White and her 15 assists. Finally, Morgyn Guppy kept Cuba/Spoon River Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Lewistown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-14.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Abingdon/Avon on the 18th. As for Lewistown, they will head out to square off against Midwest Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
