After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newark, Glasgow was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the McKean Highlanders with a sharp 17-7 win. The Dragons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Glasgow's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for McKean, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Glasgow didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-3 loss against Hodgson Vo-Tech on the 1st. As for McKean, they will head out on the road to face off against Newark at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.5 runs per game on average), something the Highlanders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
