Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Flinthills). Everything went their way against the Altoona-Midway Jets on Tuesday as the Flinthills Mustangs made off with a 63-42 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Mustangs pulled away in the second half with 41 points.

Despite the loss, Altoona-Midway still got an impressive performance from William Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 boards. Stackhouse has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 26 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kieran Foster, who posted 11 points.

Flinthills' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Altoona-Midway, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Flinthills and Eureka will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Altoona-Midway, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Yates Center at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Altoona-Midway is facing Yates Center at the right time seeing as Yates Center is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
