Ribault falls despite strong effort from Caleb Williams

Recap: Ribault Trojans vs. Lake Howell Silver Hawks

The Ribault Trojans were the 54-44 winner over the Lake Howell Silver Hawks when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Ribault fell to Lake Howell 52-47. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ribault has scored all season.

Despite the loss, Ribault still got an impressive performance from Caleb Williams, who scored 22 points. The game was Williams' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyreon Bradwell, who scored eight points.

Lake Howell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Janiel De los santos led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Mason Fritz, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.

Ribault's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Lake Howell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ribault and Ridgeview will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Lake Howell, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lake Mary at 7:30 p.m. Lake Mary has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 262 points over their last four games.
