Baseball Game Preview: Noble Knights vs. Windham Eagles

The Noble Knights will face off against the Windham Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Noble's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Windham's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Noble easily dispatched Sanford on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Knights fell just short of Falmouth by a score of 10-8 on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Knights, who until this game were averaging 3.71 runs allowed.

Noble got a big performance out of Alec Hale, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Hale is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Evan Ballard, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Windham's offense. They lost 15-0 to South Portland on Saturday. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Noble now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Windham, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Noble was able to grind out a solid win over Windham when the teams last played back in May of 2025, winning 6-2. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
