Ridgeland had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with an 88-78 victory over the Northwest Whitfield Bruins on Tuesday. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Ridgeland to victory were TJ Foster and Jamarcus Lewis. Foster dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds, while Lewis almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Lewis a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Mitchell, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points and seven boards.

Ridgeland's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-9 and their overall record up to 6-16. As for Northwest Whitfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.
