Baseball Recap: Nottingham Comes Up Short

Nottingham made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hopewell Valley Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Northstars fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 10-8 on Thursday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 3, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Nottingham now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Hopewell Valley Central, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 4-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nottingham will face off against Lawrence at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hopewell Valley Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Warren Hills Regional at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
