Softball Recap: T.R. Miller Has No Trouble Against Hillcrest

T.R. Miller got themselves on the board against Hillcrest on Thursday, but Hillcrest never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Hillcrest Jaguars with a sharp 15-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2022.

Kylie Walton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Walton was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Ellie Miller and Ollie Billingsley did most of the damage at the plate: Miller went 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Billingsley scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. Those four stolen bases gave Billingsley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allison Reeves, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

T.R. Miller now has a winning record of 2-1.

They will have a chance to go back-to-back against Hillcrest: the pair will be back at it again later today.
