Baseball Recap: Central York Panthers vs. Red Lion Lions

Central York fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Red Lion on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Lions, falling 10-4. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wyatt Mahler was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
