Baseball Game Preview: Bravo Knights vs. Marshall Barristers

For the second straight game, Bravo will face off against Marshall. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Barristers at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bravo's offense. They fell just short of Marshall by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bravo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Torres, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Torres has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Marshall's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Bravo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
