Volleyball Recap: Lauralton Hall Crusaders vs. Branford Hornets        
        
		
             Lauralton Hall won the last time they faced Branford, and things went their way  on Monday too. The Lauralton Hall Crusaders put the hurt on the Branford Hornets with a sharp  3-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Crusaders.
 After all that action, the final score was 25-9, 25-20,  25-20.
 Despite the loss, Branford still got an impressive performance from   Julianne Henkel, who  had 13  digs, two  aces, and a  block. Henkel is also on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 12 or more in the last 21 games she's  played dating back to last season.  Riley O'Brien was another key player,  getting 12  digs.
 Lauralton Hall's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Branford,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Lauralton Hall will look to defend their home court  on Friday against North Haven  at 5:30  p.m. As for Branford, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  3-0  win vs. Law on the 11th.
