Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Jaelon McDonald: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made three total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel Sandia past Santa Fe by a score of 38-19. We hope McDonald's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

McDonald and Sandia are on the road again on Friday to play Atrisco Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. The last time McDonald duked it out with the Jaguars (back in September of 2024), the Matadors came out on top by a score of 52-14.
