Basketball Recap: Stranahan Mighty Dragons vs. Miramar Patriots

Stranahan won the last time they faced Miramar and things went their way on Friday too. The Stranahan Mighty Dragons came out on top against the Miramar Patriots by a score of 62-52. The victory was nothing new for the Mighty Dragons as they're now sitting on three straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stranahan to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Nealy, who posted 14 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Esron Simeon, who earned 11 points along with five assists and three steals.

Stranahan was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Miramar lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Martell Smith, who went 7 of 12 en route to 19 points. Those 19 points gave Smith a new career-high. Ronald Germielle also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.
