Volleyball Recap: Hammond Comes Up Short

Hammond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Ben Lippen Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Skyhawks of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-6.

Hammond's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ben Lippen, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.

Hammond will face off against Calhoun Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ben Lippen, they will take on Buford at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
