Basketball Recap: First Baptist Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

First Baptist Academy won the last time they faced Lebanon and things went their way on Tuesday too. First Baptist Academy took down the Lebanon Greyhounds 55-39. Considering First Baptist Academy's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Lebanon's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Collin Adams, who posted 12 points. Deion Washington was another key player, putting up ten points.

First Baptist Academy moved to 4-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lebanon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Baptist Academy will welcome Mt. Olive at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lebanon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marissa/Coulterville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
