The Salesian College Preparatory Pride will challenge the Berean Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Salesian College Preparatory is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Salesian College Preparatory is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past San Rafael 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pride.

DeAmor Coleman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. Coleman was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

Salesian College Preparatory lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, Berean Christian entered their tilt with El Cerrito on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Gauchos.

Berean Christian pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Salesian College Preparatory, their record now sits at 17-6.

Salesian College Preparatory skirted past Berean Christian 7-5 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pride since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
