West Liberty is 9-1 against Wilton since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The West Liberty Comets will take on the Wilton Beavers at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, West Liberty took a blow against Mid-Prairie, falling 65-22. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Golden Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Wilton came up short against Tipton on Friday, falling 47-27. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Tigers are ranked 113th).

West Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Wilton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

West Liberty took their win against Wilton in their previous matchup last Friday by a conclusive 60-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Liberty since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
