Vest Came Up Big in Spanish Fork's 63-21 Victory
Kaden Vest's rushing tear continued on Wednesday as he dropped his tenth-straight game with 101+ rushing yards. He rushed for 232 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also caught a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Vest might have his next game, a home matchup with Salem Hills, circled on his calendar. Back in September (the last time Vest saw the Skyhawks), he rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.

Provo Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Oliver Mackay
Oliver Mackay's big game helped extend Provo's winning streak to seven on Wednesday. Mackay's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his tenth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 70 yards.
Provo pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Mackay and Provo will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dixie at 6:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Gehrig Orchard Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Wednesday, Provo got the W thanks in part to Gehrig Orchard playing the best football he has all season. Orchard threw for 312 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 51 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.

The second Spanish Fork player making an appearance here is Brock Jacobson, and for good reason. He picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 35 yards and a touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 80 yards.
For the season, Jacobson has caught 12 touchdowns while averaging 108.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after ten games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.
