Soccer Recap: Salem Hills Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Salem Hills was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of the Spanish Fork Dons by a score of 2-1. The Skyhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Salem Hills' goal came courtesy of Ben Staheli, who's now up to five this season.

Salem Hills' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Spanish Fork, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Coincidentally, Salem Hills and Spanish Fork will both be playing Maple Mountain the next time they take the pitch. Salem Hills will head out to face Maple Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Spanish Fork will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
