Baseball Recap: Garey Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Garey's offense. They fell just short of the Baldwin Park Braves by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost three in a row.

Garey's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Baldwin Park, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Coincidentally, Garey and Baldwin Park will both be playing Azusa the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Aztecs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Braves will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
