Volleyball Recap: Alturas Prep Starts off Right with Win over American Heritage

Alturas Prep had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the American Heritage Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win.

Alturas Prep not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept American Heritage between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

American Heritage is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alturas Prep will take on North Gem at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for American Heritage, they will square off against Watersprings at 6:30 p.m. on the 18th.
