Volleyball Recap: Albany Takes a Loss

Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Portage Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Comets of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Portage, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Albany will take on Barneveld at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Portage, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Highland on the 20th.
