Basketball Preview: Wahoo Warriors vs. Platteview Trojans

Wahoo has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Platteview Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Wahoo came up short against the Orangemen and fell 47-38. Wahoo has struggled against the Orangemen recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Wahoo might have lost, but man, Sidney Smart was a machine: she scored 22 points. Ava Lausterer was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Meanwhile, Platteview scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 74-32 win over Ralston at home. Platteview has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Wahoo has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Platteview, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.

Wahoo strolled past the Trojans in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 51-36. Does Wahoo have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
