Volleyball Recap: Aynor Blue Jackets vs. Georgetown Bulldogs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Aynor had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Georgetown Bulldogs 3-0. The Blue Jackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-19.

Aynor can attribute much of their success to Alaina Brown, who had 15 digs. Brown has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 17 times she's played.

Aynor was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

The victory made it two in a row for Aynor and bumps their season record up to 15-14. As for Georgetown, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Aynor nor Georgetown have any future games scheduled.
