It was a good run, but Minnechaug Regional unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Reading Memorial Rockets by a score of 3-2.

While Minnechaug Regional ultimately came up short, they really made Reading Memorial work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 16-25, 20-25, 26-24, 15-4.

Maliha Daubon paced Minnechaug Regional's offense, picking up 14 kills. Daubon got some help from Cora Pace and her 33 assists. Pace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Minnechaug Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Reading Memorial, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

Minnechaug Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reading Memorial, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against King Philip Regional on the 6th.
