Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Minnechaug Regional's Winning Streak

After flying high against Somerville on Friday, Minnechaug Regional came back down to earth. The Falcons fell just short of the Reading Memorial Rockets by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Maliha Daubon paced Minnechaug Regional's offense, picking up 14 kills. Daubon got some help from Cora Pace and her 33 assists. Pace was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Minnechaug Regional's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Reading Memorial, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

As of now, neither Minnechaug Regional nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
