Volleyball Recap: Jac-Cen-Del Takes a Loss

Jac-Cen-Del lost against Milan back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Jac-Cen-Del was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Milan's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 26-24.

Brynlie Simon paced Jac-Cen-Del's offense, picking up ten kills. Simon got some help from Brooklyn Simon and her 17 assists.

Jac-Cen-Del's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Milan, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Jac-Cen-Del wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Shawe Memorial on the 8th. As for Milan, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Franklin County on the 10th.
