Hozho Academy posted their closest win since December 12, 2023 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Michael Cardinals, sneaking past 32-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Hozho Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khloe Todecheenie, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Daniels, who put up eight points.

Hozho Academy's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for St. Michael, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Hozho Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Michael, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pinon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
