Soccer Recap: Carolina Day Comes Up Short

Carolina Day lost against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 7-0 to the Eagles. While losing is never fun, Carolina Day can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 295th in North Carolina, while Rabun Gap-Nacoochee are ranked 109th in Georgia).

Carolina Day is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Carolina Day has already played their next contest, a 9-1 victory against Statesville Christian on the 10th. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 defeat against Westminster on the 10th.
