Baseball Recap: Todd County Central Takes a Loss

Todd County Central managed to slip by Muhlenberg County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rebels lost 15-0 to the Mustangs on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Todd County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Muhlenberg County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

Coming up, Todd County Central will face off against Edmonson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Muhlenberg County, they will challenge Hopkinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 2.6, the Tigers 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
