Volleyball Recap: Workman Takes a Loss

Workman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Edgewood Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Workman was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Workman's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Edgewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Workman will welcome Ganesha at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
