Softball Recap: Lightridge Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Riverside

Lightridge faced Riverside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bolts fell just short of the Ram by a score of 2-1. The Bolts were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ram earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lightridge fell to 19-1. As for Riverside, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Lightridge nor Riverside have any future games scheduled.
