Volleyball Recap: Lafayette's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lafayette waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Williston Red Devils as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Lafayette was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Ella McAdams, who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Copelyn Johnson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Williston lost, don't look at Amelia Smith. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs.

Lafayette's record is now 14-3. As for Williston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Lafayette didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Oak Hall on the 7th. As for Williston, they will challenge Newberry at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
