Suwannee is a perfect 3-0 against Wolfson since February of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Suwannee comes in on three and Wolfson on four.
Suwannee's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Santa Fe by a score of 4-0.
Suwannee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grayson Greene, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run. Ty Moses was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
Suwannee hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wolfson had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Blue Devils. The Wolfpack might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.
Ryan Rhoden spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Angel Bairan, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Paxton Frederick, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Suwannee's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Wolfson, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.
Everything went Suwannee's way against Wolfson in their previous matchup back in March, as Suwannee made off with a 9-2 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Wolfpack have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
