Football Game Preview: Waukee vs. Des Moines East

On Friday Des Moines East take on Waukee at 7:00 PM. Des Moines East have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Waukee are surely hoping to exploit.

Things could have been worse for Des Moines East, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 14-31 loss to Johnston last Friday. Des Moines East were down by 7-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Waukee took the game and then some with a 63-7 win over Mason City. Waukee were heavily favored coming into this match, and the results showcase why.

Des Moines East took a serious blow against Waukee the last time the two teams met, falling 7-42. Can Des Moines East avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
