Honaker is 7-1 against Lee since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will challenge the Generals at 7:00 p.m. Honaker's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Thursday, Honaker didn't have quite enough to beat Lebanon and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Gate City, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Gate City are ranked 75th).

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Honaker, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Honaker was able to grind out a solid victory over Lee in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, winning 3-1. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Generals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
