Basketball Recap: Princeton Bulldogs vs. Clinton Dark Horses
There's no place like home for Princeton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Clinton Dark Horses 58-30. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Princeton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Harrison, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakeir Ward, who posted seven points in addition to five boards and three steals.
Clinton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amir Wright, who put up eight points. Another player making a difference was Henry Bass, who had four points and eight rebounds.
The victory got Princeton back to even at 3-3. As for Clinton, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Princeton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-44 loss against Hobbton on the 10th. As for Clinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-50 defeat against South Lenoir on the 10th.
