Chadwick is 8-2 against Rio Hondo Prep since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Chadwick Dolphins will venture away from home to take on the Rio Hondo Prep Kares at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Chadwick's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Chadwick easily dispatched Lennox Academy on Wednesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Chadwick fell just short of Flintridge Prep by a score of 70-68 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (67), the Dolphins still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Rio Hondo Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Santa Ana Valley.

Rio Hondo Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chadwick, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Chadwick was able to grind out a solid victory over Rio Hondo Prep in their previous meeting back in January, winning 51-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chadwick since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
